Has it really been that long?!.

I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted! Our sweet precious Gracie has turned ONE on April 7th and is such a joy! I go to bed so excited to wake up in the morning and play with her! She started walking at 9 1/2 months and now at almost 14 months she is running and climbing- just today she has learned how to open doors and loves to hang onto the stove which scares me! Also today she has learned to say Elmo- She is in love with sesame street and has learned sooo much from that show and Dora!
As for me I have found a great friend up here who has a 12 month old, daughter! I have been praying about meeting someone my age and as a pastor's wife too we get along great- the girls have a fantastic time too! As for Stephen he broke his arm in April and is slowly doing better he still has pain but that doesn't slow him down from doing the Lord's work! I'm just SO thankful for him, he truly is wonderful;)
I hope to not wait 6 months before I write again! Things around here get pretty busy and with little miss busy body she keeps me on my toes!

So very thankful, Kim

Our Baby Can sit up:)

Gracie is 5 1/2 months old and can finally sit up on her own. She has been also wanting to stand all the time which is great because I'm for her to walk..lol.. My back has been is such pain these last few days and as I do want her to stay little forever-I know she is ready to be a big girl-she can drink from sippy cups now and has licked a lolly pop-ate strawberry popsicle and just talking all the time. She is also teething which bothers her something bad-shes constantly rubbing her gums. I feel SO bad that I really cant do anything to help her:)

She will also be in her FIRST pageant:) My mom, grandma, and papa are coming up to stay the night and come go! Pageants are a big thing in my family and I;m excited to share that with Gracie...

She is just the BEST baby! She has been sleeping from 11pm to 7:30-8:00am everyday (she loves her bed) and today totally surprised me with grabbing her spoon from her bowl when I turned my back!

Stephen has been spending Daddy-daughter time with her each night bathing her and he enjoys it so much because Gracie LOVES to get a bath!
Hey, if you looking to save money we found a great site that you can swap DVD and books-check out www.paperbackswap.com

Time is Flying by-Hold on if you Can

One of my Favorties

Gracie at 4 months on 8-11

Drinking water from a water bottle at the Zoo

Mommy and Gracie and the Zoo Keeper

Little Princess on the way to Grandma Ray's House

My, my how time flys when your having FUN!! Gracie will be 5 months on Sept. 7th and we can hardly believe it...She is growing leaps and bounds it seems and is basically sleeping through the night which is so great for us...She loves her big girl bed SO much!

While I'm typing shes sleeping on the guest bed here in the guest room with her beloved Lamby.. I was telling Steve today that if everything my great house and nice car were taken away and all I had was Gracie my life would still be so complete...

Gracie went to the Zoo last Sat. for the first time and LOVED it, she even met a friend there too.. She loves animals so much she even grabs Bella from time to time just to touch her... its so cute but Bella HATEs it! We've also started Gracie on drinking from a cup and she can do it so well, we give her only water right now and then I have been giving her cereal with Banana and thats her fav!

On Sept. 28th we have decided that we are going to put Gracie in the America's Cover Miss Pageant here in Lake City-I did pageants around her age and won photogentic and I think it would be good for her-no matter what anyone else says-I'm just doing a few-they are not glitz its only judge on natural beauty and I think shes going to do great-we-I'm so excited:0)

Ahh, The Simple Things

The Simple things in life are what truly matter, have you ever just stopped what your doing for one minute and just listen to your surroundings. We get so caught up in our everyday hurry and go we forget what matters-like God and our Family..

Gracie is just so cute-We got her a Jumperoo the other day and she just loves it! She has found her feet too so where ever we are either she is in her crib or in her carseat she HAS to touch her feet all the time..lol (I have posted a few pictures of her funnnn times)

Looking at Gracie I think about how its the simple things that matter the most-Please this week take time to sit and smell the roses as they say, because really life is TOOOO short!!

I'm too blessed to be STRESSED!!!

Have a Great Week:)

P.S. Tomorrow I will be singing for the first time in ages it seems..The Song is Voice of a Savior and it really hits home with me:)

Big Personality II

Big Personality

The Little Girl I Prayed For:)

Dear All:

Its so very funny to look back at old posts from here in March and especially Gracie's old baby website. Well, a lot has changed since the last post... Our little Angel arrived on April 7th her due date. She weighed 8lbs even and 20.5 inches long and head FULL of black beautiful hair! We are just SO in love, its so hard to believe that she is now 4 months old.. So many people told us that you need to cherish each moment because before you know it-its gone just like that-blink of an eye.

She has so many accomplishments-she can smile-laugh all the time which in turn cracks us up-roll over-come to you when you hold out your hands (mommy is her favorite right now-sorry daddy:) and can hold thing and grasp things... Just last Monday we let her sleep in her own bed and well she did great but mommy, well thats another story! I've finally thought to myself she is 4 months old now and I should be able to let her sleep in her own bed (she had been sleeping in her bassanet in our room).

Its amazing how one little giggle or one little smile can melt your heart. I think to myself how did I ever live my life without her, it sure wasnt complete-waking up to her each morning smiling and so happy is how each one of us should be.. Jesus said that we should have faith as a child and I can see in Gracie the Love and innocence that she has in her pretty hazel eyes..When she holds my finger while eating or when shes sleeping in my lap I sit and marvel at what our AWESOME God created... I remember telling the tech girl during my c-section that I didnt know how anyone could not believe in God after seeing this little miracle-it was truly one of the most wonderful experiences, Steve and I had ever experienced.

One verse that has been on my mind is from 1 Chronicles 16:34-it says: Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

-Thank you God, for the gift of children and the wonder of Life:)
