Princesses and the Easter Bunny :)

Today is Easter Sunday and we had a beautiful Sunday. The service was one of my all time favorites. I love everything about Easter. I love love remembering my Jesus who died for my sins and celebrating the fact that he arose 3 days later. I love my Lord,my church, and family so much. I think the other reason why I love Easter is because we get to spend family time together. We color eggs and Gracie gets to play with her little trinket toys the Easter bunny brought. She was so cute this morning because she found an almost empty 2 liter of orange soda and she thought that Easter Bunny had drank it ;)

To back track yesterday, was my baby girls 3rd Birthday. I just cant get over how much time has flown by. She is now fully potty trained and so so independent. I just marvel at all the things she learns and remembers. Just the other night I was reading a silly book about Ernie and his missing duckie and after I got done doing all our night time things she just hugged me and kissed my cheek as to say I was the best mommy in the world. Its times like that in those moments that my heart is so full of God's goodness..

We celebrated her birthday in true princess fashion. She had her little friends over from church and we just had such a fun girls day. She got a little surprise from her Mamaw- a bunnie and she named him Prince:) We have so much fun with that little guy and he has become a part of the family. Here are a few pics from her fun day!

Lost for words

I'm at a lost for words. I have tired to write over and over but the words don't come out right. Parenting a toddler is hard- being a parent period is hard work. I remember when we first got married and I would see these parents getting onto their children and think- "I will never be like them" and now I think "I know exactly how you feel". Don't get me wrong, I love love being a mom but it takes A LOT of patience. My prayer for Gracie being that she is indeed very strong willed is that she will use this strong willfulness to do great things for the Lord some day. She is a blessing to us. I laugh because I see so much of me in her. She is my twin its scary!

They say the 3's are worse and honestly I'm terrified. HA! There are some days where all I do is get onto her. Very rarely does any type of discipline work. She will look at me and say "No, Ma'am" or "I will do it if I want".... Oh this child.\

I guess today was one of those days, that I needed to vent. I cant even imagine having two. What would I do.. haha!

Busy Post...

Here I am posting again in what feels like forever and for that I'm sorry. We have finally really moved into our new house. The "Extra" room still had a few final touches to be made and this past week, I finally got it all organized.

We have a had a few fun adventures since my last post. We visited my mom and dad in Plant City. Gracie was old enough this year to participate in Pee Wee Showmanship. Basically, my brother shows cows and he helps Gracie lead his cow around the arena. She got the cutest little trophy.

Gracie said I'm gonna walk Tank and Yancey LOL

One of my favorite pics from our friend Emma's B-day

The following weekend, Stephen went out of town to a Sunday School conference. I was nervous staying home alone with Gracie-but it was for one night and it turned out great. I love spending one on one time with her. She is almost 3 and you can really tell how much she has matured just in the last 5 months. She is my joy and I just love hearing her talk.

Picnic time

Swimming..

Ice cream date at Powell's

It was actually warm and so we pulled out her pool, we had a picnic and just did fun stuff outside. Did I mention, I love being outside. Its crazy because if you know me, you would know I hate outdoors. For some reason, I'm taking a lot of pride in my yard. My grandma gave me Knock-out roses for a house warming gift and I got to plant them:) They look so beautiful.

Then, Stephen's parents came for a visit for a couple days because my mother in law is on spring break. Gracie had so much fun with them. They even brought her a birthday cake, and gifts (they will not make it to her party this year because of Easter being the next day)... We had so much fun with them, and showing them our new church and house.

Looking forward to the Summer months- when we get to go on vacations! We love to travel :)

Starke Home Pictures

Here are the pictures of our new palace. No, but really we are so thankful we live closer to our church.

Enjoy :D

We've Moved to STARKE!

We are officially all unpacked. We have less storage in this house so we have had to get creative with our things :) Gracie's room has the only walk in closet- we joke she'll love that when shes a teen. This home is a great investment. We bought it at a great price and really feel the Lords hand in it. It is so awesome getting back to our old routine with Stephen coming home for lunch. We have missed him, Gracie especially.

My hubby has been a huge help in getting things fixed up. We just need to finish a few things and we will be set. I redid the front yard flowers the other day and Steve and I painted the front porch area black- it was run down looking.

We moved around my birthday. Stephen surprised me with flowers and a cookie cake. He also got me a gift cert. for a Swedish massage- I'm spoiled! Then for an extra B-day gift, Gracie and I went to get pedicures and she had her toe nails painted. She loved it and it was so special doing that with her. She sat so well, and listened to the lady telling her not to move.

We then had to go to a VBS conference in the mix of all the moving- things were hectic but we were able to visit the State Fair for the day. We had free ride tickets so couldn't pass up taking Gracie. She had so much fun, seeing the animals, and riding "Roller Coasters"..

\
On top of everything- Gracie decided on Friday that SHE wanted to go in the potty and has been wearing underwear ever since. I'm so glad I didn't push her into going. This has been so stress free, I cant believe how well she is doing. She is growing up so fast. My baby girl will soon be 3- how can that be?!?

My little Painter

Today has been a FUN day so far. Stephen goes to work later on Wednesdays and we love it. Gracie gets to wake up and see her daddy instead of him rushing off. We are still living in Lake City so the drive is 45 minutes for him. Each morning, she'll wake up and say "Where is Daddy"??? I have to tell her everyday that he is at work :( Breaks my heart to see her cry for him. We don't have a closing date yet- things got pushed back so we should get a date around Feb. 9th. Its so hard living in a house with everything basically packed away. I want to move so bad. I'm trying to make the best of our time here in this house and find fun things to do with Gracie.

Today, we went to the store and I bought her this little wooden bear. She loves to paint and this little kit was on clearance for $1.47 :) It included the paint too. She had the best time painting it. She said she was making it for her daddy!! I also, bought all her Valentine things. I love getting her things for each holiday. I especially love buying her holiday shirts. I got two cute ones. One for Valentines, and one for St. Patty's day!

Its almost nap time. Then its off to church, where she gets to play with her puggle friends. Wednesdays are always my favorite day of the week.

Hope your week is blessed!

P.S. Tomorrow, we are baking Valentine Cupcakes :) More pics to come <3
